Day 1: Arrival day
We meet at Istanbul International airport and transfer and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia, Underground Cistern
Discovery of the historical heart of Istanbul: Visit Topkapi Palace, somptuous residence of the Ottoman Sultans, home to the imperial treasury, the cabinet and the famous harem.
Lunch in a restaurant in ‘old city’. Afternoon, visit Hagia Sophia ‘The Shrine of Holy Wisdom’, the marvellous Byzantine basilica built in the 6th century once the largest church in the world for 1000 years decorated with stunning golden mosaics. Then visit Blue Mosque with six elegant minarets and a striking blue Iznik tiled interior. Nearby, take a stroll through the ancient Hippodrome, a center for sports and entertainment in the old Constantinople as well as very important political spot for politics during the Byzantine period. Then visit the Basilica Cistern, impressive underground water reservoir from 6th century. Overnight in Istanbul. (B,L)

Day 3: Saint Savior in Chora, Beyoglu District, Grand Bazaar, carpet manufactory
Discovery of the Golden Horn: Visit St. Saviour in Chora, a former Byzantine church, and a magnificient museum of Christian mosaics and frescoes and visit the district of Beyoğlu with its fish market and its innumerable shopping streets. Lunch in Beyoğlu area. Afternoon, visit the Grand Bazaar, the largest and the most attractive covered bazaar in the world. The last visit of the day will be a carpet production center then we will return to the hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Istanbul. (B,L)

Day 4: Bodrum Antique Theatre, Gumusluk
Morning flight to Bodrum. At our arrival we will visit the Bodrum antique theatre overlooking the harbour and Bodrum Castle then drive to Gumusluk. Charming and peaciful fishing port where we’ll have lunch. Free time at your leisure in the afternoon and drive to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Bodrum. (B,L,D)

Day 5: Castle of Saint Peter, Underwater Archaeological Museum
Strolling in the Bodrum Peninsula, former Halicarnassus, home town of famous greek storyteller Herodotus. Visit the Castle of St. Peter, which houses a fascinating underwater archaeological museum. Lunch. Afternoon we’ll explore different Aegean villages and we’ll have opportunity to relax in SPA-center Turkish bath in the hotel. Dinner and overnight at your hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 6: Miletus Antic City, Temple of Apollon at Didyma
Departure to Miletus (about 130 km), hometown of Thales which has a magnificient architecture of the ancient world, particularly with its splendid theather. Visit the Temple of Apollo at Didyma, the ancient center of consultations of oracles. Lunch and return to Bodrum. Afternoon free time. Dinner and overnight at your hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 7: Beylerbeyi Palace, Camlica Hill, Rustem Pasha Mosque, leather shop, Spice Bazaar
Morning flight to Istanbul. At our arrival, we will discover the Asian side of Istanbul. Visit the Beylerbeyi Palace on the Bosphorus. Sumptuous imperial residence with its Bohemian crystal chandeliers, Sèvres and Chinese vases, and magnolia-filled gardens, Beylerbeyi served as a summer palace and guest quarters for visiting dignitaries such French Empress Eugénie, Shah of Iran and the King of Montenegro. Next, we’ll discover the Çamlıca Hill, highest point of Istanbul with a panoramic command over the city. Lunch in the Asian side and we will pass to the old city to visit the Rüstem Pasha Mosque built in the name of the treasurer and the son-in-law of Suleiman the Magnificient, it is known to host the best examples of handmade Iznik tiles, in both interior and exterior walls and we finish with the colorful and exotic Spice Bazaar where you can taste dried fruits, caviars, foodstuffs, Turkish delights and of course spices. Then we will visit a leather shopwhere you will attend to fashion show and appreciate leather goods. Overnight in Istanbul. (B,L)

Day 8: Return day. No museum with entrance fee
After brakfast, transfer to the Istanbul International Airport and your return flight home. (B)
